Long time no see
Nov. 9th, 2008 08:30 pmI haven't posted in a while, huh? It's not that I haven't had things to say, but I just haven't had any motivation to tell the world.
The election: I learnt a lot about the voting process. I'm both happy and sad about who won. Overall, I'm glad I took the time to decide my issues and pick a candidate.
School: same old, same old. I read a lot, and I practice not enough. I did get through a history quiz with a better score than earlier in the semester, though.
Band: practice kind of sucked the first time after our gig. Today we got some of our groove back. One of our singers is probably leaving, but we're working on a replacement. We are, of course, learning new songs, as we only have enough for an hour(?) presently.
Knitting: I'm working on an afghan for a friend, right now. I need about 25 squares, and I'm knitting on number 4. You have to start with nothing to achieve something, I guess. My sister wants a scarf, and even bought the yarn for it. I'll be starting that soon, probably as a break from the sameness of afghan squares.
The family is good. Did I mention that my youngest brother has bleached his hair? It's completely blond. Very anime-like.
And that's all, folks.
I gotta do the school thing, now. Yippee.
