...and to All a Good Night
Dec. 25th, 2008 07:23 pmChristmas Eve is the day my family celebrates and opens presents, so technically, I'm done with Christmas. However, as today is traditional, we went and saw the family. It's an hour trip, which afforded me much knitting time, and I got it DONE! The afghan which has been the center of my life for the past two months is finito, complete and all that. I have taken photos, here, here, and there. Many thanks to my older sister for helping me out. I'll be sending it to my intended recipient (the lovely Autumn) in the morning, or whenever I find a suitable box. I intend to include in the package the facts about it, like approximately how many stitches are in the darn thing. I'm proud of it, I've never done such a large project.
Hmm...Now I'm going to go and bake something. I wonder how long it will be until I cast on for Timothy's mitts.
