First off, this post has nothing to do with the TV show by the same name.
So, why is there the expression "down to the wire"? Down to what wire? I am at that place right now. The ravelympics end tomorrow at 5:30pm. I have 28-ish rows (that take 20 minutes each) on the bodice to go, plus the straps (I have no idea how long those will take). Yeah, I'm not gonna make it.
I might get the bodice done, but the straps? Naw. The bodice is my goal. Hopefully life can be normal after tomorrow.
Other than that, I've moved back into my apartment at school. It starts Monday. I need to buy books and arrange one class. Life is pretty interesting right now.
I don't know how much I'll blog in school. I should probably a set up a regular time to do this, like once or twice a week. The only reason I blogged once a day in Vienna was Mother. This will be completely of my own will.
Off to knit, and watch Pirates of Penzance ("the major general comes...").
Talk at ya soon.
