Ummm... haven't done much today. Or have I?
Let us see. Went to a Vienna Philharmonic concert. It was awesome. I have details forthcoming later. Came back to apartment. Looked up necessary info (be proud, dad). Went (one more time) to the knitting group because according to its group thing on yahoo! (tm) it was were I went last week. I got there with minimal problems, just a spring shower as I exited the U-bahn. But, no, nothing and nobody knitting there. I wasn't all that surprised, and got myself a hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll. They were both quite good, the cinnamon roll, especially. Nothing like comfort food and knitting two rows of the pencil bag to make spirits rise. I was on Maria Hilfer strasse (street), which is a shopping area, so I went shopping. The rain had stopped. I got a scarf, some marzipan (and almost a kilogram (2 lbs) of gummy bears, it was too funny, but I resisted), and tried on some clothes. The sizes here are different, figuring out mine was interesting, if somewhat disappointing. I am an in-between girl, neither 'normal-sized' nor 'full-figured'. Well, I am full-figured, but the way the stores use that term is for obese people, and I am just barely obese.
Satisfied that I did not completely waste my Sunday, I returned home, expecting Andrew to have made dinner. No-one was there. Apparently dinner was off, so I did a multitude of miscellaneous tasks and read blogs. Dinner was a pan-fried chicken and cheese sandwich, good stuff. I continued to read blogs, people came and went. Another girl in the IES program had a birthday dinner tonight, and they asked if I wanted to go, but I decided to stay to do homework. I read blogs, clicked on links, read excerpts, and didn't stop. Dang it.
So here wwe are at 1 am in my area of the world, and no homework or practicing has happened. I need sleep now. This is actually somewhat common on Sunday nights. I will be lax, but 'make it up' on other nights. One can hope, at least.
P.S. Mom and Dad,
I have ordered a book from Barnes and Noble online. It will arrive in the next two weeks, please don't lose it.
You'll be seeing me tomorrow.
