I finished my twelfth and final repeat of lace for my sis's top today. Just stockinette to go. I'd say I'm about half done. This is good, I've got seven days of seventeen left. The end is nigh, and I'm happy for it.

Today was quite fine, we went to church (interesting preaching about homosexuality), I knit a lot, and me and my oldest brother rehearsed with 'our' band. The band has no official name as of yet, but "Seraphim Song" has been suggested. This plays off of having two female singers.

School, as I've mentioned, starts in a week. My previously mentioned brother is starting at a different college tomorrow. He's excited, and so am I. So much to do, so little time.

And it's time to go.
Until next time,

Today was good. there were classes and pizza and playing and learning to teach. I've also done laundry and am about to go to the store for dinner. I searched my preferences and came up with meat, cheese, crackers, spread, and sparkling grape juice. I love my appetite, it amuses me every now and then. Our teacher trainer group is having dinner at a sushi place tonight. Sushi is okay, but I don't feel like it tonight.
Now that I think about it, I've never gone to a laundry mat before (what does the name stand for?). The lady in charge was very friendly, and the machines were pretty quick. There was this one man in there reading his Bible aloud. This is my life recently, people everywhere just talking about religion, it's very strange.
I've been knitting a little lately. In the laundry mat I got two rows done, finishing a white stripe. I am very into stripes and color change in my knitting/crocheting, and am pleased to have finished one. It keeps you motivated.
I don't know where I am going to eat my dinner tonight, either by the pool or in my room. I do want to swim sometime, it seems a waste of a perfectly good opportunity if I don't. Besides, it's tradition.
All in all, a well-formed random post about a slightly less random day.
Bye-bye, now.

Ummm... haven't done much today. Or have I?
Let us see. Went to a Vienna Philharmonic concert. It was awesome. I have details forthcoming later. Came back to apartment. Looked up necessary info (be proud, dad). Went (one more time) to the knitting group because according to its group thing on yahoo! (tm) it was were I went last week. I got there with minimal problems, just a spring shower as I exited the U-bahn. But, no, nothing and nobody knitting there. I wasn't all that surprised, and got myself a hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll. They were both quite good, the cinnamon roll, especially. Nothing like comfort food and knitting two rows of the pencil bag to make spirits rise. I was on Maria Hilfer strasse (street), which is a shopping area, so I went shopping. The rain had stopped. I got a scarf, some marzipan (and almost a kilogram (2 lbs) of gummy bears, it was too funny, but I resisted), and tried on some clothes. The sizes here are different, figuring out mine was interesting, if somewhat disappointing. I am an in-between girl, neither 'normal-sized' nor 'full-figured'. Well, I am full-figured, but the way the stores use that term is for obese people, and I am just barely obese.
Satisfied that I did not completely waste my Sunday, I returned home, expecting Andrew to have made dinner. No-one was there. Apparently dinner was off, so I did a multitude of miscellaneous tasks and read blogs. Dinner was a pan-fried chicken and cheese sandwich, good stuff. I continued to read blogs, people came and went. Another girl in the IES program had a birthday dinner tonight, and they asked if I wanted to go, but I decided to stay to do homework. I read blogs, clicked on links, read excerpts, and didn't stop. Dang it.
So here wwe are at 1 am in my area of the world, and no homework or practicing has happened. I need sleep now. This is actually somewhat common on Sunday nights. I will be lax, but 'make it up' on other nights. One can hope, at least.

P.S. Mom and Dad,
I have ordered a book from Barnes and Noble online. It will arrive in the next two weeks, please don't lose it.

You'll be seeing me tomorrow.
