And they're stupid most of the time ("Someone called you an IDIOT! Take our test to prove it [un]true!"). Sorry, random thought there. I do wish I could rid the internet of them.

Good news, proper sleep has been happening, we'll see if it happens again tonight. It should. The practicing thing...not as much. Don't worry, I've got two people other than me on it, maybe that will produce results.

Life has been happening, much as expected, without an apocalypse or other death-bringing catastrophe. There has been school, some knitting (just wait), and plenty of music.

So, the knitting. I do believe that you (plural and singular) know about the yellow hat. I managed to knit five inches of it, and then...did not have the proper needles to continue! (The melodrama is fun, roll with me) Therefore, I went looking for them, and found them Saturday. However! I did not buy them, because they were bamboo, and I need metal ones. I continued looking for them in 2 other stores, and they (alas!) did not have them. Thus, the happy and wee little yellow hat cannot grow until(?!) I either order the elusive metal double pointed needles in US size number 7 (4.5mm) on the internet, or find them somewhere about town. It's a tough choice.
In the mean time, I've started, or tried to start, the authentic Victorian Lace for my Lit. class using an authentic Victorian pattern. This endeavor hit a major snag on the first row: typos. Now, I understand how typos happen. Heck, I've even created a few myself. But, there has to be a limit, people. Apparently, Victorian limits extend far past modern American ones. Either that, or the person who entered the pattern was brain dead at that time, and then did not use a spell check or review it before posting it. I personally think it was both.

Other than that little problem, my life is good. I am well-fed, warm, clothed, and have multiple electronic and paper things with which to amuse myself (we [me, myself, and I] are not mentioning the sticks and string on purpose).

Until next time,

Greene
